This week and next week (up until 9 December), we will be praying for the Clark brothers Michael- 42, and Matthew- 39 who at the moment are diagnosed with Leukodystrophy: a genetic disorder that makes people age backwards. It’s said regardless of age the effects of this disease is the same.
Jesus said something remarkable and great when Martha confronted Him about her brother’s death;
23 Jesus said to her, Your brother shall rise again.
24 Martha replied, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live;
Praise God! Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. He is the RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. Jesus also proved it with Himself when He came back to live after 3 days! Hallelujah. Nature says the dead cannot live again, or a sick person cannot just get healed, but Jesus proved nature wrong. We can prove nature wrong!
WHY?
Matthew 10:8
Because Jesus instructed us to;
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
And Jesus is in us, so if the RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE is in us, we have the power and ability by God’s Spirit to give/speak LIFE into people who are sick, dead, suffering and confused.
Oh… we believe The Lord can and is willingly to heal the sick, the Clark brothers, the other children in our communities with this disease. We are voice they need, an although the future looks tough and painful for their parents, family and friends, we can change this. We will change this, because the Lord is eager to revive their brains and their Neuro functions.
PRAYER
And so Father we declare today that the Clark brothers and children living with Leukodystrophy receive your healing at this time, and that their Neuro functions become perfect and whole. We pray for their parents, that the Holy Spirit strengthens them and their hearts and minds be open to the hope of a greater and the best future with their children. We speak LIFE to their bodies, and a RESURRECTION of any thing that seems dead in their bodies. This we declare in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
The period of prayer (up until 9 December) is only fixed in the prayer chain time-frame for all the TBOYB friends and volunteers, but the TBOYB Team will continue in prayer.
